Goal #1:Create a clear defined infrastructure • Objectives – • Development resources • Coaching and player development separate functions but linked by the vision • Board positions defined and people held accountable • Coaching Performance Standards • Define and hold to • Expertise • Applicable certification/training • Philosophy of development first • Coaching curriculum must be adhered to • Tie in development with the AWYSL league • Parent education • Help parents understand the program • Gain parental commitment to the program

Strategies to achieve a clear defined infrastructure • Define R&R’s in an org chart • Board positions • Coaching/managers • Parents • Define what the coaching certs cover & make sure all adhere to the policy • Establish parent ed planned events • Tie into season kick offs • Newsletter tie ins • Define the AW soccer offerings/programs • Continue joint development programs and communication with the AWYSL league • Solicit AWYF/AWYSL coaching and board support

Goal #2:Continuous development and support of a soccer culture • Objectives – • AW Soccer board support • Board members with soccer experience and or involvement • Spirit wear conducive of “soccer styles” • Support social opportunities • Group events • MLS, College, HS game attendance • Make soccer part of the community • Be proud to be a soccer player

Strategies to achieve continuous development and support of a soccer culture • Communicate what the board positions are responsible for and the importance of the board • Capture in a board position the scheduling of soccer outings. • MLS, college, etc • Insure X # of group outings • Post on the website past player success stories • Update spirit wear to current soccer styles • Communicate the number of kids participating in AW Soccer • Update the website and links to other soccer sites

  6. Goal #3:Continuous improvement of facilities • Objectives – • Fundraising plans to support • Maintenance and growth • Add new resources as needed • Equipment replacement and upgrades • Keep up with attrition of equipment • Add new technologies

  7. Strategies to achieve continuous improvement of facilities • Expand fundraising scope • Tie in with AWYF • Define goals for fundraising • Options to volunteering • Budget replacement of equipment • Expand grant applications

  8. Goal #4: Maintain sustainable annual growth • Objectives – • Keep pace with the district population growth • Expand our reach • Expand our offerings • Link with the Rec league

  9. Strategies to achieve sustainable annual growth • Insure growth does not dilute the product • Continue to expand available paid coaches • Tie into areas that are expanding their population • Continued collaboration with the AWYSL • To become a united/linked organization • Jointly recruit at the community soccer day • Based on the child/family desire • Merge the academy programs • Link on-line registrations • Determine the measure of successful growth
