  6. Met with Local Government Officials Visited the former Deputy Director of Groundwater for Thailand Met with the local water jurisdiction

  7. Met Local Pipe and Pump Supplier Pipe Standards are different. We settled on PVC pipe versus polyethylene or steel.

  19. Determining a Solution After much discussion, it appeared the well installation option was not good due to the low production of an existing nearby well.

  20. Determining a Solution In addition, there does not appear to be any close local surface water supply available for treatment.

  21. Proposed Solution The best solution: install piping to connect to an existing treated water source

  22. Existing Water Treatment Plant

  23. Above Ground Tank on a Hill An above ground tank will be installed at the temple site to provide a reliable water supply with sufficient pressure

  24. Proposed Solution Piping will be installed by a contractor to tank site (~1400 meters) and then to the village center (~1500 meters). At that point, villagers will hand dig to extend water main and provide services.
