  4. The process.... Building the tree Carefully mix your plaster ‘casting investment Pour into your mould slowly Tap for air bubbles 1 hour to set

  5. Kiln time... 8 hours kiln time... 2 hours – 149 degrees C 2 hours – 371 degrees C 3 hours – 732 degrees C 1 hour – casting time

  6. The fun begins... Heat up the bronze Put in the plaster cast Spin baby spin An interesting chemical reaction when the plaster hits the water it disintegrates.

  7. Time to take them off the mould...

  8. Clean up time... They have now been sand blasted and need a good clean up with a dremel and polisher

  9. The finished product...
