Why is skin care important for a f/a? • Skin care is extremely important for a flight attendant because: • Working in a dry atmosphere • Awake for unusual hours • Confined in a “tin can” for x amount of hours which results to exposing yourself to lots of bacteria • It is a part of your image as a F/A to be presentable

  3. The Cause of bad skin • Not washing your face after a shift • Sharing makeup • Sleeping with makeup on • Using very warm temperatures to wash face • Using products not compatible for your skin • Unhealthy diet • Lacking hydration • No sleep • Stress

  4. Skin care routines • Having a set skin care routine is very important. Regardless the time of the day you arrive home from work, you must always wash your face and remove your makeup.

Skin products • Investing in good quality products will benefit you in the long run! • High end brands • Invest in anti-wrinkle cream early, prevention before it even happens • Always wear SPF face creams to protect face from the sun • Hydration creams are highly recommended • Self made mask; save plenty of money making hydration masks at home

  7. Hydration • Hydration is a very important aspect of everyone's life. More importantly, Flight Attendants. How do you keep hydrated? • Drink at least 6-8 cups of water a day • Eat food that has lots of water content, so being dehydrated isn’t an issue • Use hydrating face masks weekly • Consume less salt, consuming lots of salt will make you retain the water you need for important parts of your body

  8. Consumption • Not consuming too much salty food • Consume Healthy Snack • Drink fewer soft drinks and alcoholic beverages • Vitamin A and C (Salmon, carrot and spinach) • Eat sufficient amounts of healthy fat • Minimize intake of sugars
