  2. What is The 2010 Time 100 Poll and why are they holding them? • 2010 Times 100 poll is a poll that is held by the TIME ,and it’s purpose is to recognize those top 100 people who have affected our world the most this year, 2010.

When and where is the 2010 Time 100 Poll? • Voting in online now have been closed and it’s list (the result) has been revealed on April 29th 2010, Thursday. • This is the website website you could have go in and voted: http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1972075_1976159,00.html

  4. Categories • The 2010 Time 100 Poll is divided into four categories, and they are: Leaders, Heroes, Thinkers, Artists.

Who is Mir-HosseinMousavi (میرحسین موسوی خامنه, )? • Mir-HossinMousavi is Iranian opposition leader with an age of 68, and he was chosen as the first place winner in the TIME 100 Poll by gathering his supporters into political movement, resisting many threats and crackdowns, despite losing or have been stolen 2009 presidential election. • Mir-HosseinMousaivi is right now the Leader of the Green movement and announced the Green path of hope as its social network. He was born in March 2nd 1942, and he served Iran’s 79th last prime minister (1981-1989). He also was the president of the Iranian Academy of Arts until 2009 when Conservative authorities removed him.

  8. Who is Han Han (韩寒)? • Han Han was born in September 23rd, 1982. He is a Chinese best-selling author, singer and the most popular blogger, but also a professional race car driver with the age of 27. He is know for his work, “Triple door (三重门).” • He became the second in the TIME 100 Poll by writing his first novel about his experiences as dropout in high school in Shanghai, recognizing and debating about the quality of his country’s rigid education system that soon became a best seller. Also, as a race car driver, he makes fun at prominent cultural figures and incompetent officials by writing a mega-popular blog.

  10. Who is Yu-Na Kim (김연아)? • Yu- na Kim was born September 5, 1990 in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do. She is a nineteen years old South Korea’s national figure skater. • Yu-na Kim earned first ever gold in South Korean ice skating history during 2010 Vancouver Olympics. She got the highest score(over 200 points with the ladies short program and free skating combined) ever since ISU’s new scoring system in 2006. Yu-nabecame the top three in the TIME 100 list, not only recording something we thought was impossible but also grabbing the golf-loving south Koreans attention on the Ice skating. • She is also the first one ever as the south Korean skater to win a medal at various events which are: ISU junior grand prize events, ISU (International Skating union) championship, and the Olympic.

  12. Reason Why I Chose this article • I chose this article, because I was very interested when I saw this poll going on, wondering who would win. As you know, there have been very influential people in this year, with all the events such as 2010 Winter Olympics, and I think why I was attracted by it. • I learned more about people who affected the world, whom I didn’t know before, and I want others to learn about them like I did. • Also, one of the people on the lists was Yu-na Kim, my favorite sports star in Korea who have won the gold medal in figure skating this winter Olympic.

  13. Personal thoughts about this Poll • I learned more about the people who have influenced our world but I believe that there are many more people who are not on the list that tried hard to change the world, and its just a matter of being famous.
