  1. People first ask why use Twitter - then they ask how to use Twitter. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center SXSW19 in Houston ranks as one of the world's most respected centers focused on cancer patient care, research, education and prevention. The SXSW Interactive Festival (March 8-12) provides a variety of compelling evening networking experiences that complement the many learning opportunities at the SXSW Conference. SXSW Festivals offer a unique opportunity to explore the worlds of Interactive, Film, Music, and Comedy with parties, awards, screenings, and showcases. Those issues aside, the live music scene in Austin is like nowhere else in the country. In the last 15 years, SXSW has become one of the most respected film festivals in the nation. The first SXSW event was billed as the "Austin Battle of the Bands, SXSW" in 1987. Marketers would launch games then host 'real world' experiences: events, competitions and interactions that complimented the gameplay and made it tangible. It's technically an industry event that the public gets the chance to take part in. However, the major challenge of the SXSW show has become keeping the fans happy. In the 2014 British film Frank , an experimental band (led by the title character) is booked to play a show at the SXSW Music Festival, but the gig leads to the band's breakup. With its downtown location in Zilker Park, festival goers find that the entertainment often carries on long past festival hours, as bands jam into nearby music venues in the city in "after-shows" that bring the music down to a more intimate level. You could wait in line for two hours to maybe get into Rachael Ray's party… or you could spend that time rolling the dice on smaller events. So that workshop that you did at SXSW in Austin may, in the eyes of Texas, require you to pay sales tax for all sales within the state, even if they were shipped directly to the consumer via Fedex at another point of time during the same year. Organizers expect about 400,000 people to rock their way into Austin during this year's festival, which will be held March 8-17. 1QBit CEO Andrew Fursman will be speaking at the SXSW 2018 panel on quantum computing in Austin, Texas on March 10, 2018. During nine days of screenings, the Film Festival (March 8-16) celebrates raw innovation and emerging talent from both behind and in front of the camera.
