  2. Rublev Colours Artist Oils are unlike any other brand of oil paints today. Why are Rublev Colours different from other manufactured oil paints? One reason is that we use genuine natural and historical pigments like those used by the old masters. Most of these pigments are not found in other brands. Another reason is that we make Rublev Colours Artist Oils as they did before modern tube colors—without additives. Rublev Colours Artist Oils contain only pigment and oil. They are formulated to maintain the unique characteristics of each pigment in oil.   3. Pale Azurite Oil Paint 1oz (jar) Rublev Colours Pale Azurite Artist Oil is natural carbonate of copper from ore deposits. Rublev Colours Pale Azurite has a subdued grayish-blue masstone with a coarse grind. 

  4. Maya Blue 50ml Rublev Colours Maya Blue is a translucent black-blue with high tinting strength, fine grained and a 'short' buttery paint. Maya blue is indigo on a base of palygorskite clay (formerly attapulgite) that are the principal components. This produced a remarkably stable pigment used by the ancient Mesoamericans.

  5. Verona Green Earth 150ml Rublev Colours Verona Green Earth is a transparent deep green with yellow undertones, medium grained and low tinting strength. Our Verona green earth is from basaltic tufa deposits in Brentonico near in Santa Cristina (Verona).

Cobalt Chromite Blue 50ml Rublev Colours Cobalt Chromite Blue is an intense dark blue with greenish-undertones when mixed with white from inorganic pigment of cobalt chromite, called incorrectly “Cerulean blue” in other oil paint ranges. It is a semi-transparent, fine grained color with high tinting strength.
