Installation Process • Pre-work • Ensure that the Handheld device is fully charged before the installation • Insert 2 GB Memory Card in Handheld Device • Ensure no other device is attached to the computer during installation process • Remote Access • Call up DMS help desk / Branch IT coordinator and initiate the process to provide control of your system (computer) thru remote access • Installing Drivers for the hand held devices • Once the remote access is active, Insert CD provided with hand held device by the manufacturer • DMS help desk will then load the appropriate drivers of the hand held device in the computer

Installation Process..contd • Connecting the handheld device to the computer • Turn on the hand held device • Connect the Handheld device to computer via USB cord • Once connected drag the USB logo showed on your hand held device (A ) in downward direction • Click on the box “USB Connected” – (B) (A) (B)

  5. Installation Process..contd • After completing the steps in the earlier slide click on the button “Turn on USB Storage” & then on “OK” as showed in the image below Click Here Click Here

Installation Process..contd • The following screen will automatically open on your computer • The help desk will now create two folders & copy the application file thru remote access in the handheld device drive • Help desk will also copy DMS sync tool on the computer’s desk top Handheld Drive Create New Folder Name : Inputfiles Create New Folder Name : Outputfiles Paste file here ( File Name : ColgateDMS2.1.apk)

  7. Installation Process..contd • To install the DMS lite application USB port needs to be turned off, please follow the steps as given in the images below for the same (B) Click on the button to turn off the USB (C) Click on the button (A) Drag USB logo in downward direction

  8. Installation Process..contd • Click on the My Files icon as showed in the image – 1 • Click on Colgate DMS.apk file as showed in image-2 Image 2 Image 1 Click on My files Click on ColgateDMS2.1.apk

  9. Installation Process..contd • Click on the Install button - Image 1 • Installation would then start automatically as showed in image -2 • In less than minute the installation would be completed - Image 3 Image 2 Image 1 Image 3

  10. Installation Process..contd On the next screen of your device you can see the DMS lite1.0 icon, this indicates that your installation process is competed Drag the screen to left

  14. Transfer Route - DMS to Handheld

  15. Select Salesman & Route Click on Download

  16. Connect Handheld with PC & Connect USB Drag Down Click Here

  17. Click on turn on USB storage & Click on ok Click Here Click Here

  18. The following screen would appear on the handheld device, indicating that the devices is attached to the computer

  19. Click on DMS Data Sync Application icon on your computer’s desk top screen DMS_DataSync_2.1

  20. Sync Tool Open Click on Sync Button

  21. On successful transfer of route following message would appear on your computer

  22. Disconnect - USB Click on Turn off USB Drag Down USB

  25. Order Booking Process – Uploading Route Click on Icon DMS Lite & Wait for few seconds Click on DMS Lite

  26. Order Booking Process – Uploading Route Click on the setup button to select the salesman & route Click on Setup No Need to Change Date

  27. Order Booking Process –Uploading Route Click on each of the following buttons and select Salesman– Mode - Route than click on “OK”

  29. Order Booking Process - Click on Create button to open the route /store list- Stores who have not purchased in last 30 days will be market with * sign as showed in the image below- Select the store for whom the order needs to be booked ( eg Prince Dabas Store )

  30. Order Booking Process This screen will show all the details which are available in new palm version - Click on the “Continue” button to move to next screen

Order Booking Process - Once the store is selected the screen showed in Image 1 will appear- The provision is made in the device to track SKU wise availability which may be . . required in the future- This is optional and SSMs can skip this step by simply clicking on OK button- Image -2 would appear- This screen will show all the brands which are not purchased by the store in last 30 days- Click on the “Continue” button to move to next screen Image 1 Image 2

Order Booking Process - In this screen the salesman can key in the order quantities- SKUs not purchased in last 30 days would be marked with * sign- Provision is made to display MSL ( Minimum stock level ) this feature would be useful in the future- MRP of each sku would be displayed Product MRP * SKUs not purchased in last 30 days

  33. Order Booking Process - Select the SKU to be booked as showed below in Image 1 ( eg CDC 200)- Stock available at stock point in pcs as on date will pop up for information- Click on the Box to enter sale qtys Click on Sku to Enter Qty Stock available Qty in Pcs Click here to enter Qty

Order Booking Process - On clicking on the box as showed in earlier slide the key pad will open- Enter order qtys in pcs by using this key pad- To confirm click on “Add” and to edit click on - To delete click on & then click on “Cancel” X X Enter Qty in pcs Enter Qty in Dozen Click here to Edit & Delete Qty

  35. Order Booking Process - The order booked will then appear as showed in the image below- Click on the next SKUs to enter the order - After entering all the required SKUs click on “Save” button to save the order Sale Qty2 Pcs Click here

Order Booking Process - After saving the order the following screen would appear- In this screen you can view the total value of the order booked by the retailer as well as the total order booked for the day- This screen will also show the productivity achieved by the SSMs for the day- To enter order for next retailer click on the button “New” Click on New for Next Order

  37. Order Booking Process - The following screen would appear- Click on the “Create” button and repeat all the earlier steps to book orders Click on Create

  38. Order Booking Process - The retailers whose order is booked will be marked with # sign as showed in the image below # - Order Booked

  39. Order Booking Process - If any retailer whose order is already booked is selected again the following message would pop up- Click on OK to return to retailer selection Screen Click On OK

  40. Order Booking Process - If the qtys entered is higher than available stock the pop up as showed in image below would appear to alert the salesman- Salesman can click on ok to continue with the order booking process- Qtys entered by the salesmen would still be considered in the order Available Qty = 1

  42. Synchronization - II • After SSMs return to stock point click on “Reset” button • The as showed in Image II will appear, click on “Yes” to continue Click on Reset Click on Yes
