Geography, Climate and Natural Resources • United kingdom is surrounded by several bodies of water. • Weather changes frequently. • Has on of the highest peaks. • Their geography, climate, and natural resources provide many jobs and have a huge impact on their life because the island loses 714 acres of erosion every year.

  3. Economic Data • Natural resources include oil, natural gas, iron ore, and salt • London is one of the worlds most important financial centers • Therefore United Kingdom is a developed country and there have a high standard of living.

Culture • British family's are small and tightly knitted • The British usually have a house and a garden • Main sports are: • Football (soccer) • Tennis • Boxing • Rugby • Gardening • Watching TV • Recognized for theaters, art galleries, and concert halls • British music has a huge influence on the rest of the world • Holidays include: • New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas, Boxing Day, and St. Patrick's Day

Movember • Movember (November) is a moth of awareness where men don’t shave and grow moustaches for money for cancer research • Events were launched in Ireland, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Spain, the United Kingdom, Israel, South Africa, Taiwan, and the United States • All together they raised over 7.5 million dollars
