  2. Digital Computer • 1642- the first digital computer was invented in 1642, by Blaise Pascal. • All it could do was add..

  3. Digital Computer • 1694- A computer that could add and multiply, was invented in 1694, by Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz.

  4. Typewriter • 1843- the first typewriter was invented by Charles Thurber. • A typewriter has to do with video technology, because the credits at the end or beginning of a movie are typed, so the stars of the movie wouldn’t get any recognition without their names being on the film.

  5. Remote Control • 1898- the remote control was invented. • It was invented by Nikola Tesla.

  6. Sound Film • 1923- sound film invented • Sound film invented by Lee DeForest.

  7. First Film with Sound & Color • 1923- the first film with sound and color was invented. • Lee De Forest invented it.

  8. Invention of the Video Camera • The first video camera was invented on April 14, 1956. • The video camera was invented by Ray Dolby, Charles Ginsberg, and Charles Anderson. • It was sold for $75,000 (US money).

  9. Camcorder Invention • 1983- camcorder invented • The camcorder was invented by the company called, Sony.
