  3. Tires Make sure that the tires are in excellent condition before the monsoons arrives. Check the depth of tires, they should be good enough else your car will skid over surface which are slippery. Tire loses air pressure during monsoon so don’t forget to check pressure of tires regularly. It will ensure the good tire life.

  4. Wipers And Washer Wiper blades wear out quite fast. Do get the wiper blades checked or changed before the monsoons. Don’t forget to check the wipers functioning proper at all speeds. Keep the wiper washer tank full and if you want you can add a mild detergent to keep the windshield glass clean.

  5. Brakes Brakes are the most crucial part of a car. You should regularly clean the brake pads and replace, if needed. Don’t forget to check the brake fluid levels. Brakes lines should be checked too to ensure there is no air/water leakage.

  6. Body Do not let rainwater sit on your car. It will affect your car’s paint. In rainy conditions, apply wax polish to protect your car’s paint. The wax will not only protect the paint but will also allow water to roll off easily. Get the rubber lining on doors checked/replaced before monsoons arrive.

  7. Electricals Make sure external wires are insulated. If you see any loose connections, patch them up. Ensure that all the fuses are working fine. Check all the lights, we advice you to keep your parking light and brake light on while driving.

  8. Interior Sometimes water flows into the car and damages the carpets and flooring. We advise you to use fabric mats instead of rubber mats. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the car regularly and to dry seats.
