Thermodynamics is an important chapter in Physics and carries a significant amount of weightage in NEET. It is considered a fairly easy chapter and most of the aspirants skip it or doesn’t pay much heed. My advice to all the aspirant is not to take the chapter lightly and master the concepts.

If we analyze the last five years medical question papers atleast three questions are asked from thermodynamics and each question carries 4 marks. Now 12 marks can shift your rank by 1000, hope you understand what my point is. So what is the best way to study thermodynamics in a limited amount of time? Here are few proven tips Learn the basic concepts of Thermodynamics from NCERT books- NCERT books are the best source for NEET preparation. The language is easy to understand, lucid and to the point content is available. This is the main reason, why NCERT books are helpful in strengthening the basic concepts of thermodynamics. If the book is thoroughly studied, there is no need for any reference books. Let me tell you 95% of questions are derived from NCERT books. Prepare your own Thermodynamics notes- Prepare your won notes, write down the key points of the chapter. It should be easily understandable and must contain full fledged information about the topic written in your style. Support your notes with bullet points, paragraphs and diagrams.
