Prepare for Our News Presentation on April 9th: Emergency Stories and Reporting Skills

On April 9th, coinciding with Mr. Romero's birthday, we will present "Las Noticias." Your group of 3-4 members will create a news report that includes a news anchor, reporters, and interviews with victims. Choose from stories such as an earthquake, hurricane, or car accident and cover the details, cause, and aftermath of each incident. You will need to use the past tense for storytelling, incorporate varied vocabulary, and include dramatic elements in your presentation. Each member must submit a section of the script by the end of class tomorrow.

Necesitanhacerun noticiero, tenerreporteros, locutor, nombre/númerodel canal. • 2. Van a repasar los detalles de unosaccidentes/emergenciasquepasaronayer o anoche (o la semanapasada). • 3. Van a usarel imperfectoy el pretéritoparacontar los cuentos de emergencias.

Fire *Use a grand variety/amount of vocab from the two lists, (orange and green) “To Tell A Story” section, must include setting, cause, details, treatment of each story *Most verbs must be in past tense (all story part) *May interject with “noticia(s) de últimahora”!!! *Reporteros may be actors in other scenes *May use any props/pictures/dramaticness necessary (appropriate! to story and to use as much vocab as possible) *All presented LIVE Each person must write their own section/story. A large paragraph must be written/ completed by each person by end of class tomorrow. You will turn in an overall script for a daily grade on day of presentation.
