Contractor Orientation for Satellite Migration Project to Koreasat 5
This orientation outlines the objectives and rationale for migrating active subscribers in the designated area to the Koreasat 5 satellite. The primary goal is to realign or relocate subscribers’ satellite dishes within three months. The migration is necessary due to the limited lifespan of Agila II, which has approximately two years left in orbit, compared to Koreasat 5, launched in August 2006 with a 15-year operational lifespan. Proper satellite and antenna dish orientation parameters are specified.
