  3. What is Apartheid? Apartheid was the official policy of racial segregation – in other words, Racism and segregation in South Africa was the LAW, and if you were anything other than WHITE you were a 2nd class citizen

  4. Segregation in South Africa included: • Separate buses for blacks • Separate toilets for blacks • Separate schools for blacks • Separate beaches for blacks • No right to vote • No right to marry a person of another colour • Etc…

  6. What is Zionism? • Modern Day Zionism – arose in the late 19th Century, a movement to re-establish a Jewish State in ancient Israel Realized by Theodore Herzl during the Dreyfus Affair – “Jews could never hope for fair treatment in European Society”

  7. What is Racism? Hatred or intelorance of another race or other races

  8. What is Anti-Semitism? The hatred towards, or the discrimination against Jews for reasons connected to the Jewish Heritage…therefore surely… ANTI SEMITISM = RACISM?

  9. Zionism is the solution to protect Jews from this form of racism known as Anti-Semitism…

  10. United Nations General Assembly Resolution number 3379 10th November 1975 the UN adopted by a vote of 72 to 35 that Zionism is a form of racism and Racial Discrimination

  11. The irony… Today Zionism is compared by some..to Racism – However Zionism was created in order to protect Jews from Violent forms of racism and discrimination

Immigration to Israel I was confused as to why Israel is called a racist state, and why some circles refer to Zionism as Racism and even compares Israel to Apartheid South Africa If Israel is like Apartheid South Africa, why do we have… • Arab Knesset Members? • Arab Captains of Israeli Soccer teams? • Arab singers gaining the most amount of votes in a israeli reality TV show? • Arab Authors? • Arab Doctors treating Jewish Patients and Visa Versa? • Etc…
