  5. 龍王太子眼 食之益生長 傳說很久以前，江南某地有一個錢員外，本人家有 糧田千頃，家財萬貫，但美中不足的是年過半百膝 下無子。錢員外連取三房妻室，總算在53歲時得了 個兒子。晚年得子，闔家歡喜，取名錢福祿，視為 寶貝。小福祿嬌生慣養，長得又瘦又矮，10歲的他 看上去仍像四五歲，這下可急壞了錢員外。

  6. 龍王太子眼 食之益生長 錢員外有位通曉醫藥的遠房親戚王夫人，她見福祿這般模 樣，就對錢員外說：「少爺乃先天稟賦不足，後天過於嬌 貴，飲食不節，損傷脾胃。若要強身健體，非吃龍眼不 可」王夫人並講了有關龍眼來歷的傳說。在哪吒鬧海那年 月，哪吒打死了東海龍王的三太子，還挖了龍眼。這時正 好有個叫海子的窮孩子生病，哪吒便把龍眼讓他吃了。海 子吃了龍眼之後病好了，長成彪形大漢，活了一百多歲。 海子死後，他的墳上長出一棵樹，樹上結滿了像龍眼一樣 的果子。人們從來沒有見過這種果子，呀！太好吃了，真 是香甜可口。窮孩子吃了這種果子不但沒有出什麼危險， 而且身體變得越來越強壯。

  7. 龍王太子眼 食之益生長 從此人們才開始把這種果子當作補藥來吃，並叫它 為「龍眼」。在東海邊家家種植龍眼樹，人人皆食 龍眼肉。錢員外聽後，立即派人前去東海邊採摘龍 眼，並加工製作成龍眼肉，每天蒸給福祿吃。久而 久之，福祿果然身體變得越來越強壯。
