  1. Meet Mrs. Hershberger 2nd Grade Intervention Specialist Sandy Valley Elementary

  2. All About Mrs. Hershberger • This is my 6th year of teaching. I graduated from Walsh University with my bachelor’s degree in special education and from Malone College with my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. • I taught 5th grade for 4 years at East Sparta Elementary and this is my second year of teaching 2nd grade!

  3. All About Mrs. Hershberger • I live in Plain Township with my husband, Howard, where he is a Captain on the fire department. • When we are not at work, we enjoy golfing, bowling and going for walks with our daughter, Kamdyn who is 1 year old! • On the weekends I love to go shopping, read a good book or go see a movie!

  4. What Is It Like In Room 203B…. In my class, I like to use technology, computers and the Internet, to help my students learn in different ways. Homework is rare but important in my class.. Things like practicing handwriting, spelling words and reading are always recommended for “at-home” activities…

  5. What’s In Store for This School Year…. We will be working at the 2nd grade level in all classes with the modifications needed to make EVERY child as successful as possible!!

  6. My Motto…. I believe that each student learns in their own way and it is my job to make sure that everyone has a fair opportunity to be the best student that he or she can be!
