MESA Engineering Program (MEP) • Assist educationally disadvantaged and first-generation college students attain degrees in math, engineering and science from four-year institutions. • MEP strongly encourages participation of students stemming from groups with historically low participation rates in college admissions.

  10. Silicon Valley Engineering Scholarship • $851,000 offered since 2002 • Scholarship, $5,000 per year. • Funded by Applied Materials, Solectron, Lam Research, National Semiconductor, Xilinx, Cisco, etc.
