Modular Scheme • Forward thinking approach to the workplace of the future demands creativity and independence of mind, combining expertise from subjects never previously connected • Students will want to combine their own strengths and preferences, not be constrained by pre-existing subject groupings

  8. Joint Honours Subjects • Each subject is either Specialist or Joint Honours • Each Joint belongs to 1 of 3 timetable zones • It can be combined with any other subject from a different zone • There are promoted combinations of most popular/suitable subject mixes

  9. Pathways • Each subject has a Pathway Guide to explain how to combine modules within its area • Core modules – compulsory • Core options – choose (2 of 3 for example) • Electives – optional subjects (e.g. business, languages, IT) • Each student could have a programme unique to them
