  2. PROWL Arriving & Leaving Campus Walkers:  This would be a good time to remind students who walk to school to always walk with a friend, don’t talk to strangers, etc.  Student should not stop on the way to school, but should walk directly from their home to school.

  3. PROWLfor Arriving & Leaving Campus Morning When you arrive on campus you should not linger outside, but should enter the building and report to the sixth grade hall.  Often times, students who are visiting outside can get in trouble for horse play, hurting others, etc.  If you need to go to tutorials/band practice, you should have a pass from a teacher or parent allowing you to enter the building before 7:45. Afternoon When you are dismissed in the afternoon, you should exit the building.  Get any items you need from your locker quickly and do not stop to visit with friends.  Buses leave at 3:40. If you miss your bus, report to the main office to call for a ride.  If you walk home, you must be off campus by 3:45 unless you are being supervised by an adult (teacher, coach, etc.).

  4. PROWLfor Arriving and Leaving Campus Personal best: When arriving on campus, report to waiting area quickly and follow expectations for that area.

  5. PROWLfor Arriving and Leaving Campus Respectful & responsible: Listen to adult’s directives.  Always cross the street at the crosswalk and do not run across the street. Walk your bikes on campus and at crosswalks.

  6. PROWLfor Arriving and Leaving Campus Only appreciations:  Bus riders should say good morning and thank you to their driver.  Walker should say good morning and thank you to crossing guards.

  7. PROWLfor Arriving and Leaving Campus Work ethically:  Report any inappropriate behavior to an adult immediately.

  8. PROWL for Arriving and Leaving Campus Lifelong learner:  Be careful in the parking lot and crosswalks.  Watch for cars at all times.

  9. Introductions Partner up.  If we have an uneven number of students, we will have one group of three.  Think of an adjective that describes you and begins with the first letter of your name (ie. Active Alex) and one hobby you have or would like to start. Share this with your partner.   Your partner will introduce you to our class using this information.
