Spelling Quiz and Language Practice Agenda for October 5, 2012

  3. Vocabulary Unit Three • With a partner • 4 minutes • Actively practice spelling. • Return to seat before time is up. • Today is Oct. 5, 2012. • If I can’t read it, it is wrong. • Predict your score. • Begin Synonyms & Antonyms

  4. Ex. 6, p. 333 • 1. During the Civil War, armies used the railroads for the first time in a large conflict. • 2. Railroads quickly transported thousands of soldiers and tons of supplies. • 3. The North had almost twice as many railroad lines as the South. • 4. The telegraph also brought many advantages to the combatants. • 5.
