Welcome to BCOR 3000, taught by Jay Ballantine. Office hours are held in Koelbel 430 on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30 AM, with additional appointments available. Important exam dates are on Feb. 9, Mar. 8, Apr. 10, and May 9 at 1:30 PM. Our course is based on "Business Law Today" by Miller and Jentz (9th Edition). Please read Chapter 1 for our first class. Exams will focus on material from Chapters 1-3, and I encourage discussions and questions. Keep an eye on D2L for updates and the syllabus.

During Exam…. • I don’t answer questions about exam questions • Could give unfair advantage • Often cannot answer without “giving away” the answer • Often can answer some, but not all, question
Instead…. • You can write down your concerns with a question on the scantron • But always put your selection for the best answer • If there is a problem, this becomes apparent
Exam Grading Process • Review all comments on exam questions • Adjust, if necessary • Submit to machine grading • Analyze results • Adjust, if necessary, and resubmit • Determine any “curve” and post
