  7. What are the Standards? The Standards are not aspirational You need to be already demonstrating professional capability at the career stage. Career stage descriptors representing increasing levels of knowledge, practice and professional engagement content.infotrustllc.com

  8. The Standards and their Standard Descriptors represent an analysis of effective, contemporary practice by teachers throughout Australia. The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers are a public statement of what constitutes teacher quality. They present a common understanding and language for discourse between teachers, teacher educators, teacher organisations, professional associations and the public.
