  4. Each 45 minute Genki lesson teaches: • A typical question and answer used in everyday conversation, e.g.; “Where is the phone?” • 8 related vocabulary words Typical Lesson

  5. Students build and retain English competency through the following methodology: • Students learn eight vocabulary words with associated large hand and arm gestures e.g.’ “apples” “bananas,” etc. • Students learn to use these vocabulary words in a sentence structure (question and answer) e.g., Q. “Do you like apples?”  A. “Yes I do.” • Students apply vocabulary words and sentence structure to a fun Genki song which they • then sing together with music and large • arm and hand gestures Methodology

  6. Students build and retain English competency through the following methodology: • Students apply vocabulary and sentence structure in a fun large group activity • Students practice speaking both individually and in pairs Methodology
