CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGESCHANCELLOR’S OFFICEOverview • This presentation is to provide more information to the changes in reporting for EWD funding (SB1402). • Memorandum from Chancellor’s Office was sent on October 25, 2013 and January 13, 2014. • Impacts grants for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 • Changes impact Sector Navigators and Deputy Sector Navigators ONLY California Community Colleges – Chancellor’s Office | 112 Colleges | 72 Districts | 2.6 Million Students

  3. CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGESCHANCELLOR’S OFFICEOverview • SB1402 has a requirement in Section 7 of the statute to gather data that shows the positive impacts of the legislation. The Legislature wants to see quantifiable data on: • Types of Services (Leading Indicators) • Employee/Employer/Student Outcomes • Quantitative Impact on Businesses • The Chancellor’s Office is mandated to report this information to the Legislature annually. CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGESCHANCELLOR’S OFFICEOverview • This data was previously loaded into DCS • Grants that are from previous fiscal years (i.e. 2012-13) must still report into DCS. • Data must now be entered at: http://misweb.cccco.edu/econdev/prod/logon.cfm • If you do not have your login and password for YTD database contact your grant monitor. Check with your Dean. • Should you run into difficulty tracking down this data, you may enter in “0” for this reporting period and combine Q1, Q2 and Q3 into Q3 reporting.
