  1. Great People of the Island Those whose names will go down in history forever.

  2. King Shawn Martin King Shawn Martin is the first king of our new island High Edge. As a youth, his father moved his entire family to the United States of America. Theylived in a small place called Akron, Ohio. For many years the young Shawn studied math. He helped group all of the island people together and taught them his ways-the ways of a mathematician. They where so impressed by what he showed them that they made him their king. Before he became king, he was a simple math teacher working at a school known as OHDELA. His family still remains inside of Akron and he visits them a lot. He has a twin brother, a mother, and a father. Besides bringingthe people together, King Shawn Martin did many things to help the islanders. He taught them math, how to read, and how to write. Using math they were able to do more things , such as trade fairly andkeep track of time,. So far King Shawn Martin has led the island monarchy with a goal to become recognized over the world as an independent country.

  3. Nevis Dorvint Nevis Dorvint was a famous mountain climber and miner. He was the person who found clay inside the mountain and minedit to create Edgians-the currency of the island. Born in 3/25/1980 he lived in the Himalayas and moved to High Edge Islandwhen he learned about the mountain. He taught the natives his language, Urdu, while King Martin taught them English. That is why today, Edgers speak English and Urdu. Nevis became the King’s advisor and trusted assistant who carries out the kings messages and wishes. He also collects small taxes, which are only on clothes and electronics. Heinforms the king of any lawbreakers and how they should be punished which is explained in the book of laws. No Photo Available! Nevis later changed his name to Nevin, to make it easier to pronounce, but wanted his original name to be written inside of his biography. His family consists of 3 sisters, a mom, and a dad. Before he became the advisor, he was a mountain climber (as mentioned above) who loved to climb unexplored or barely explored mountains.
