  10. Clyde knows that India is a Commonwealth country and is keen to find out about it and other countries who will be visiting Scotland in 2014. Clyde researches these using a variety of sources and learns about aspects such as, flags, location, capital cities, etc. and asks learners to help him create a Commonwealth quiz. Commonwealth Flags How many flags can you recognise?

  13. Research Shera explains to Clyde that hockey is a sport in the Commonwealth Games, 2014, and is very popular in India. Clyde wants to find out more and asks learners to help him research the sport using a variety of sources including the field hockey pitch in Smart Notebook. Research, creating notes and summaries, to find out about hockey and other sports in the Commonwealth Games. Use the Smart Notebook hockey pitch to learn more about this sport. Move players into their starting positions. Create your own pitch for a different sport.

  14. Clyde wants to ask learners about their favourite sports in the Commonwealth Games and decides to create a questionnaire. He asks learners to help him create different types of questions and compile an online questionnaire using Survey Monkey. He suggests that this could be given to other learners’ own schools or sent to other local, national or partner school in Commonwealth countries. Once all the responses have been gathered, the analysis can be entered into a table and/or graph.

  15. Presentation Clyde has gathered all the information on his digital tablet. He has made notes. researched. found main ideas. summarised. designed an online questionnaire and made a table or graph of responses. He asks learners to help him create a presentation to share this information!
