UnitedHealthcare Supports BBBS with Bowling and Fun Day!

UnitedHealthcare staff and families from Tampa, FL, gather to support Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) by bowling and bonding with children waiting for mentors. The event included bowling, pizza, entertainment, and school supplies for the "Littles in Wait." An uplifting day of sharing time and joy with special children.

Operations – Social Responsibility Tampa, FL, Employees Support Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) On August 21st, UnitedHealthcare staff, family and friends representing the Tampa office gathered at Pin Chasers for an afternoon of bowling and fun with 25 “Littles in Wait”. “Littles in Wait” are children enrolled in BBBS who are waiting to be assigned to a mentor. The children bowled and enjoyed pizza and then were entertained by Dipsy Doodle with balloon animals and face painting. Before heading home each child received a back pack filled with school supplies and other treats. The day was filled with much laughter. It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning sharing our time and hearts with these very special children.
