Tips for Recording Online Lectures in a Quiet Environment

Recording online lectures requires a serene setting to minimize distractions. Ensure you're in a quiet area, free of interruptions—no loud kids, slamming doors, or background noise. Prepare your outline and rehearse what you'll say, aiming for a natural delivery. Don't worry about minor blunders; just correct and move on. Keep natural pauses, and edit out excessive "umms" later. Make sure to have water on hand to stay hydrated. For assistance, contact the Instructional Design Team at Information Technology Services.
