1. Jaycee Dugard Jaycee’s childhood was robbed from her when she was kidnapped at the bus stop when she was just 11 years old. She was kept for the next 18 years in the backyard of her kidnappers home where she was sexually abused nearly every day. She had to face rape which resulted in her giving birth to two children at the age of 14 and 18. She had to give birth to them with no medical assistance. She could never experience her first date, first concert, first kiss and first time using makeup. When children her age were experiences these she was having to face life as a mother She is now a author of the book ‘a stolen life’ It is her talking about her experiences of being kidnapped for 18 years and sharing it with others. Her book has sold thousand of copies. Her book has inspired others. She now has her identity now and she doesn’t feel scared. . Her family didn’t give up hope and Jaycee didn’t give up hope of reuniting with her family and having a normal life. She faced changings in the way she acts towards others but is still the same person as she was before.
