  1. FACULTAD CUBANA DE OFTALMOLOGÍA CÁTEDRA DE CIRUGÍA EXPERIMENTAL • CURSO POSTGRADO. CRÉDITOS ACADÉMICOS. • TÍTULO: INTRODUCCIÓN A LA EXPERIMENTACIÓN ANIMAL. • MODALIDAD: POR ENCUENTROS PRESENCIALES.(3) • PROFESORES: 4 • PARTICIPANTES: 120 • LUGAR: SALA DE CONFERENCIAS. FOCSA. • MEDIOS AUDIOVISUALES: COMPUTACIÓN, VIDEOS Y DOCUMENTOS.

  2. ENCUENTROS • Se realizará 1 encuentro semanal de 1 hora de duración teórico- práctica. • Horario: después de culminada la reunión de facilitadores. • Cada profesor al frente de la temática será responsable de impartirla. • Los encuentros durarán 3 semanas.

  4. OBJETIVO GENERAL Fundamentar la importancia del proceso de experimentación animal para potenciar el proceso de formación integral del postgraduado, la generación de conocimientos en la investigación-experimentación preclínica y el desarrollo de habilidades en el campo de la bioética y las buenas prácticas de laboratorio.(BPL)

  5. OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS • Explicar la contribución del proceso de experimentación animal al desarrollo profesional e integral del postgraduado en Medicina. • Ejercitar habilidades en el campo de la bioética como la confección del protocolo de investigación para la experimentación animal y resolución de problemas teóricos relacionados con las BPL.

  6. HABILIDADES • Confeccionar protocolos o proyectos para experimentación con animales. • Resolver problemas relacionados con dilemas bioéticos en las BPL utilizando el código de ética y los principios bioéticos.

  7. TEMAS • Generalidades sobre experimentación animal. • Ética y experimentación animal. Código de ética. • Protocolo o proyecto de investigación en la experimentación animal durante etapas preclínicas.

  8. SISTEMA DE EVALUACIÓN • ASISTENCIA: 10 PUNTOS. • RESOLUCIÓN DE PREGUNTAS PROBLÉMICAS EN LA CLASE 3 POR EQUIPOS: 40 PUNTOS. • PRESENTACIÓN DE UN PROYECTO DE INVESTIGACIÓN PARA LA EXPERIMENTACIÓN ANIMAL: 50 PUNTOS.

  9. BIBLIOGRAFÍA • SERÁ ORIENTADA EN CADA TEMA POR LOS PROFESORES. • SE COLOCARÁ EN LA MISMA CARPETA RELACIONADA CON EL TEMA EL DÍA DE LA CONFERENCIA.
