  1. What My Writing Means To Me Writing is my thing, and I can't help but do it every day! To me, it's a talent, it comes as an urgent call of nature that must be appeased. I have been writing since 2012, which means, we are talking of more than four years of content creation. I base my writing solidly on research and facts. I understand that the key reason for online writing is to engage readers and softly provoke them to take the intended action. For over the years, I've enjoyed great success in writing articles, blog posts, web content and product reviews. I have also seen clients send me tips for the satisfactory projects I handled for them. I understand that the turnaround time is one of the most essential aspects of the writing process and therefore I ensure on–time ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  2. What Word Writing Means To Me Writing is freedom. For those that read and those that compose, writing is the release of imagination, consciousness, and progress. Whether it is works like the Code of Hammurabi, Thomas Paine's Common Sense, or Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf, this release has played a vital role in shaping today's world by upholding, constructing, and tearing down reality. This means that reality has been positively and negatively impacted by the power of writing. With this outlook, how can anyone decide whether writing is virtuous or wicked? The answer is found in the eye of the beholder. From my standpoint, it is noble and refining. It gives me an escape, a purpose, and a voice in the world that I am expected to accept but destined to change. Initially, reading...show more content... Some of my favorite books included I, Coriander by Sally Gardner, The Selection series by Kiera Cass, and various mythology books. I have often read entire books in one day even if I lose sleep over it, but it is worth it as they take me to a place where I am a different person who is brave, independent, and strong. For that brief amount of time, I forget about my problems. This allows me to overcome any anxiety that I harbor from the outside world. As for my works, it might come as a shock that instead of writing the fiction that I read, I write non–fiction. On multiple occasions, I have attempted to write stories with new worlds and unique characters, but it was always tedious. It does not give me the feeling that non–fiction writing does. Because of this, my works focus on realistic elements that people can learn from rather than imaginary instances. I do this by using history, nature, and my own experiences to relate to other people and show them new ways of thinking about things. For the most part, my works seemed to accomplish their goal as most of my teachers throughout school were impressed. Mrs. Head, who taught me during my sophomore and senior year, always encouraged my writing. She loved my research paper on the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, and she proofread my research paper on the life of ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  3. Why Is Writing Important To Me Essay To me, Writing has always been a great way to express my ideas, and remember past events. I like all types of writing. Some of my favorites include narratives, and persuasive writing. I enjoy writing narratives because they give me a freedom to voice my ideas in words, and allowing me to be creative. I also like persuasive writing because the writing just seems fun to me, and I also like persuading people. The most difficult type of writing would have to be narrative writing. Even though it is one of my favorites, it is still very challenging. Narrative writing requires you to create a story and make sure it all fits. When it is fictional, you must use a lot of creativity, and when it is non–fiction, you must be able to research the facts to ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  4. Write An Essay About Writing To Me I believe that writing is not only something that I am taught in school by structure, but also something that can be done freely. In my eighteen years, I have found that writing can be an out for me to express my feelings when words cannot always be spoken. For me, writing can be the only way to communicate the way I feel about certain things. Sitting down, putting pen to paper, and letting any thought or idea I have hiding out in my mind come to light is a feeling I cannot gain from anything else. I enjoy the way thoughts and phrases build upon each other to become greater ideas. For instance, once when me and my girlfriend were in an argument I found that writing helped our situation the most. We had argued for days and were not getting...show more content... My classmates and I were asked to write a persuasive essay convincing our audience to do or believe something. We had just completed the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program so my first idea was to write about something pertaining to that. I chose to write a letter to my mom in hopes of persuading her to stop smoking. I had already tried telling my mom she should not smoke, and express my feelings of negativity towards her habit; nothing seemed to work. I sat down one evening began writing, and it took me days to get all of my thoughts onto paper the way that I wanted them. I edited and revised until I had the letter as perfect as I could get it. I presented the letter to my mother, she was in tears before she made it through the first paragraph. By the end of the letter she had agreed to quit smoking. Nine years later and my mother is still smoke free. I accredit all of this to writing and the way that it helps me express my feelings and to get my point across. I do not believe writing exclusively passes on information or explains things. Writing is much deeper and emotional than that. I believe writing is unlike anything else in the way it can help one to express themselves and portray my feelings to another person. Writing is the only thing in my life that allows me to channel all of my thoughts and ideas into one place. I believe there is not a single thing in the world can compare or compete with ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  5. Assignment : I, As A Writer Essay November 3rd, 2015 – ENTRY 1: Me, as a writer? Attitude: I'm energized to complete this course and learn more about writing, but I feel like some of the information for this course makes it a little difficult for me because I don't understand some of the information I'm receiving but I hope to overcome this and try to move through it and do the best I can. Doing the best you can is all you can do right? I hope to execute well in this class and pass with a good grade and I also enjoy this class because I like to write, because I get to write out my thoughts. It's a great deal easier than speaking your thoughts. When you write I feel like you get more in depth with your sentiments and feelings, but the one thing I don't like about writing is someone reading it and I care about what they'll recollect. Inventory: I'm an autonomous learner, that's why I chose to acquire an online course at Penn Foster. Studying this course is perfect for me because it's at your own stride. I also want to become a more skillful writer. I desire to write things out more clearly and I want to use better wording and use more transition words and I feel like I will be able to understand all the things I need to know and attempt to ameliorate my writing at Penn Foster. I'm very excited to complete this course and be able to show someone else all of the information I learned in this class. 6. My Experience At The Hotel These days, there have been a number of hotels in various cities, towns and countries. From when I was young to now, I have visited many inns since I loved to travel to somewhere. I had any feeling and impression about hotels where I have been before I became eighteen years old. Hotels were just hotels that I needed to stay for the night. No more than that I thought. Before I went to Canada to study English in 2011, my family had a plan to travel somewhere and stay in a hotel for my farewell in Korea. After we visited many attractions, we were heading to the hotel that we made a reservation. When I saw the entrance of the hotel, I was surprised at first, and when we went inside of the hotel, I was surprised again. For two days, I was very impressed and I thought a lot in positive ways. I always had a desire to visit again and I wanted to get a hotel like that inn. It was the first time for me to know what I want to become. The trip to the hotel was totally changed my life and my dream. When we arrived at the hotel, a man, who looked a staff, did valet parking service for us, and we moved to the desk to get a card key. We certainly checked in and we followed the guide of one of the employees. He let my family get in a cart, and he guided us to our room where we reserved before we came here. While going there, small waterfall and many various flowerpots welcomed us. I could see that our room was being close to us, which was designed as a modern building. When we arrived at ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  7. Personal Narrative: My Essay For Me My essay for assignment 5 was the most memorable essay for me to write. When I first looked at this assignment, I was nervous about writing a letter from my grandfather to myself. I did not know what he would say to me since I didn't talk to him much during his last days. Instead of writing out a whole letter, I decided to just write parts of a letter and analyze each part as I wrote. I felt that this was a better strategy for me because it allowed me to compare my feelings to those that I thought my grandfather would feel. The letter from my grandfather discussed the reasons why he felt he had to hide his leukemia from me. My grandfather talked about wanting to remain strong for the family; he did not want the rest of the family to...show more content... At the end of my essay, Jeff informed me that this essay was the best essay I had written in this class. He called it a masterpiece. I started tearing up in class on Monday when I read these words. I had never viewed myself as a good writer when writing about personal topics. For Jeff to say such nice things about my grandfather proved to me that I am capable of self–disclosure. The comments affected me tremendously; Jeff's assurances of my writing in my essay are what motivated me to write this assignment. Originally I was going to keep this essay a secret from my parents, but I eventually told my father about this essay. He cried when I read it to him. My paternal grandfather was the one who had died, and his death was extremely hard on my father. My father told me that he was haunted by questions similar to my own. My father feels lost without my grandfather. I cannot imagine what it must be like to lose a parent, even though death is inevitable. When my father heard my essay, he told me that he felt comforted by the fact that I expressed deep love and support for my grandfather. He assured me that my grandfather wanted me to remember him as healthy. Writing this essay has brought me closer to understanding not only myself, but also my relationship with my father. I understand what it takes to be strong when life is tough. I understand that it is okay to feel anger and guilt when a loved one dies. I understand that a family can act as a support system, but it is also okay to grieve alone. I used to want to be left alone right after my grandfather died. I needed space to think and cry. This essay acted as my gateway to breaking down the walls I had constructed and allowing my family back in. This essay allowed me to share my emotions with my father, and in doing so, I was able to help both him and myself ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  8. My Writing Style Kim, Thank you for allowing me to read your paper. This is a great start to a well written final product. What do you like about the writing? I enjoyed reading your paper. You have a writing style that invites the reader to fully engage your argument. You presented a clear, logical presentation of course material combined with personal insights and experiences that were well suited for your paper. It was a thorough and thoughtful presentation of the material. Well done. How is the writing objective (not overly subjective) communicating ideas with clarity? You provided a nice balance of objectivity and subjectivity as your cited ample evidence for your argumentation and interweaved personal reflections and anecdotes into the paper. Your did an excellent job in using the breadth and depth of texts that were used in our classes, which made for a well rounded paper. Apart from a few areas of your paper which may need to be reworded and fine tuned, I would suggest defining a few of the terms that are used in your paper, to make their meaning more clear to your reader (Weltanschauung, meaning perspective, distorted assumptions etc.). These are noted in my comments on your paper....show more content... Your writing provided an orderly and structured approach to the presentation of your argument. I appreciated your use of citations to support your ideas, which helped the reader understand the connection between leadership and inquiry. There were a number of instances in which you provide overt transitions from one paragraph to another which promoted a pattern of thought that was easily digestible. I would offer the suggestion to use section headings in the paper that correspond to your key points. Occasionally, I was left wondering which section you were focusing on, even though it was well ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  9. Write An Essay About You As A Writer It is the end of this high school year and I am glad to say that I accomplished many things. The idea of doing a blog was a very successful one, given that I was able to write about what i like and improve my writing skills. Therefore, I believe that throughout this year I was able to grow as a writer, express myself better, and expand my knowledge. In addition to my English class, I was also able to improve my skills in others subjects such as history and theology, in which I had to write a few paragraphs, but mostly I had to read a lot which definitely expanded my knowledge and improved my vocabulary. That said, since I was required to write about different subjects, I also had to improve research skills and my creativity when writing about personal opinions. Overall, being able to write not only English related papers made me abroad my thoughts and enhance my writing skills. In the same way, my English papers and blog entries also helped me to become a better writer. I was very found of my blog posts, not only because it was a reflection on my life but also because of the effort that I put in it. However, I'm glad to say that from the beginning of the year until now I outdid myself with significant progress. All that said, I have the goal to keep on writing during the summer so that I can practice the skills that I learned. Thus, this year was very important in making me a more insightful person, and a better writer. 10. How To Write Me I learned how to write when I was six years old. I was a very smart, curies and happy child. Being very interesting in new things made me practice writing and reading over and over again. First, I started learning how to write a letter. Later on I learned that letters became words and the words became sentences .Also, reading a book taught me how to write was a way of expressing my feelings. Even if the life experience of a six years old child does not have a lot of things to write about, the adventures of everyday life inspired me to write my first page in my life. When my mom found out about my passion for writing and reading she bought me my first diary. One sunny spring day, she came to my room and she gave me beautiful pink box with the ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  12. What Is Writing Like Me Writing. Writing is a no. I do not like writing. It does not like me. I have very little good experiences with it. Maybe even none. The only good writing I can do is outside of school. When I attempt it in school, I forget words, how to spell them, and how to phrase them. Its like being in Kindergarten again. I have no motivation to start if I can even find an idea. Me and writing are like Zordon and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Thinking about it there's probably a better analogy out there like, I don't know, Batman and Joker if you wanna be boring. Or I could bring up something insensitive 'cause bringing up my writing can lead to great offense. Don't talk about it. It is difficult to get my thoughts together to make a sentence. High school essay assignments require a lot of paragraphs. The writing process makes me feel very stressed. I get frustrated trying to think of ideas. Sometimes, I can not think of any ideas to write about. Some essays give me a topic that i do not understand and it makes me confused. I freak out inside, wondering if I will ever get the work done. Finally, I think of a really good sentence but the second I am going to write it down, I completely forget what I was going to write. 14. My Experience In English Writing English is a core concept in the Untied States and other countries that has allowed inviduals to advance their knowledge. Not only does English provide an advancement in knowlege, but has created a way for individuals to share their thoughts and feelings through writing. Which is why English is one of the four subjects that is required to be taught in almost every school district in America including mine. I began taking English from a young age which allowed me to take advanced placement English IV my senior year at Tupelo High School. Advanced Placement English IV allowed me to further my education in writing, which in return allowed me to overcome obstacles, low points and discover strengths I never knew I had. Like any other thing in life there are always obstacles individuals face everyday, for me in my English IV class writing was something that was very challenging. The first challenge writing presented to me was trying to organize all of my thoughts, so that it made sense. The first essay I ever wrote in my English class was a journal entry about a memorable experience, so with that being said I decided I would write about the experience I had while hunting with my Dad. The hunting experience with my dad had many different parts, and one of my biggest challenges I had was organizing my thoughts, so that it flowed correctly. Since I was telling a story within my journal I realized that I was jumping around more then I should have and this became a problem. I learned ...Get more content on HelpWriting.Net...

  15. Why Is Writing Important To Me While growing up, I loved learning how to read and write. At approximately age four, my grandmother began teaching me the basics of reading and how to write the alphabet. The hours spent working with my grandmother influenced the love I have for literature. Although I have a passion for reading and writing, I feel this passion slowly fading with age. As I get older, I realize that reading does not seem as enjoyable as it used to be for me. Reading and writing has influenced my life in a thankful, a joyful, but also a slightly negative way. Certainly, I will always have joy in my heart for literacy. Reading is sentimental for me. I can think back to the countless hours sitting with my grandmother learning how to sound out letters and place them together to form words. Almost every week, she would bring me a new book to read. We would read the entire book so many times that I practically had each page memorized. My favorite set of books she brought me home was "Junie B. Jones" by Barbara Park. During my second grade year, I had read every book in the collection,...show more content... I take for granted the opportunities that are available to me through literacy each day. It never occurred to me how important the ability to read and write is. Reading is an integral part of everyday life, and writing is an important part of communication. I never understood the importance of knowing how to recognize and write my own name until I realized that my grandfather did not know how to spell his own name. We are always writing, even when we don't think we are. Writing can help you be successful in life, it is a very important qualification on a resume. 18. Essay About My English Class I can remember seeing that I had to take an English class my first semester of college. I was already overwhelmed with starting college, and having to write college essays made me get even more nervous. I sat down with my mom and decided to look at the English classes available, and I finally decided that I had to take an evening class to make it work in my schedule. The first day of English came and now looking back it was not as bad as I thought. It made me a better writer and be where I am today. It may have taken me some time to get where I am today, but at least I am on the right track. English Composition helped me realize that I am my own author and have strengths that I did not realize I had. When I first started college I did not know what to expect with an English class. 19. Essay About Myself There are three very important aspects that play a major rule in my life. They can be categorized as intellectual, social, and spiritual. My intellectual self is interesting because I am mainly right– brained which means that I tend to use my creativity more than my mathematical skills, also making me a visual learner. My social self consists of friends, family, and my surroundings. I spend most of my time at home with my family. Whenever I am with my friends, I observe their behaviors and listen to their opinions. The people who affect my social life the most are my family and friends. I have an extremely close family that has played a major role in my life. They are whom I spend most of my spare time with. My family usually gathers every weekend for dinner. I am also very open to different religions, cultures, and practices because I know many people with different backgrounds and beliefs. Since I've been influenced by various people, I've learned at a very young age to never judge people by how they look, dress, feel, or act. I am very fortunate to have learned these lessons, because many people still do not understand the importance of accepting differences. In a group, I prefer to listen to what others have to say, and then contribute to the discussion. I try to listen so I am able to compare them to my own thoughts. I enjoy working in a group, because it gives everyone an opportunity to incorporate their own ideas. My social self is most greatly influenced by my family and friends. In my English class, English 101 this quarter I was astonished by how much I had progressed as a writer sharpening my writing skills and also learned a lot about writing that I hadn't learned before. In my writing portfolio for this quarter I had to write an autobiography essay, a research essay, and this reflection essay to develop my writing skills better. The writing assignments were fun to do because it challenged me to work on essays of different styles that were new to me. The essay assignments helped me grow as a better writer that gave me the self–confidence and skills to take on the world on my own. During the beginning of the English 101 when we began the writing process: I thought at first that we spent too much time on our essays but I soon realized how important it was spending time on the essays to improve them . The revisions that my teacher and classmates made on my essays were truly helpful for me because it allowed me to better my writing.
