Discover New Jersey: A Historical Overview of Landmarks, Nature, and Governance

New Jersey, known as the Garden State, boasts a rich history and stunning landscapes. The Old Red Mill, built in 1812, and the historic Hancock House from 1734 illuminate the state's past, featuring a blend of industry and tragedy. Rockingham, used by George Washington during the Continental Congress, stands as a testament to its significance. Ideal vacation spots include Asbury Park, Wildwood, Seaside Heights, Cape May, and the serene bays and rivers of the Jersey Shore. The state capital is Trenton, and current Governor Chris Christie leads a population of over 8.7 million.
