Online tool to help programs identify performance measures: • Examples of activities, outputs, and outcomes • Drop-down menus to select components of Performance Measurement Plan • Create customized Performance Measurement Plan (“PM Plan”) quickly • Easy and fun, available online 24/7

  6. What does the PM Builder do? Provides an outline for your required performance measures • Helps you get ready to meet reporting requirements • Offers “whole enchilada” • Some instrument packets • Supplementary online resources

PM Builder Identifies Outcomes • The PM Builder is a simple tool that builds one outcome at a time. • The PM Builder feeds the performance measure components into the intermediate outcome section of the PM Plan (worksheet). • Programs must measure the intermediate outcome. • Programs should discuss outcome expectations with their program officer.

  8. Basic Terms Output: Recycling bins are distributed. Outcome: More garbage is recycled. Indicator: Percent increase in pounds of recycled material collected Target: Over a six month period, there will be a 50% increase in the pounds of recycled material collected in ABC district.
