Variable 2013 Task 3: Symbiotic & Semiregular Eryk Lipka
Task: • To acquire several points on light curves of MEDUZA stars visually (estimates of selected objects using Nijland-Blazhko method, one estimate per night). • Construct the light curves using your own and archival data.
Preparation: First observational night of Astrocamp (14/15) was spend on getting acquaint with equipment (Dobson 1200/200 + Plössl 25mm). Optics parameters with addition of bright moon and alt-azimuth mount had two important limitations: • Maximum range ≈12m; • Limited maneuver possibilities near zenith; Those reduced target list down to 8 variables.
