  2. 一、概况 美国专利商标局(US Patent and Trademark Office ，简称USPTO)是美国政府参与的一个非商业性联邦机构，已有200多年历史，主要服务内容是办理专利和商标，传递专利和商标信息。 在美国专利商标局网站上可以免费检索美国1790年以来出版的所有授权的美国专利说明书扫描图形（http://www.uspto.gov/patft ） 。

  3. 二、美国专利商标局检索方式： • 提供了三种方式： Quick Search(快速检索) Advanced Search（高级检索） Patent Number Search(专利号检索)

  7. 三、检索示例： 例1：检索单步法煤流化工艺研究的专利文献。 进入美国专利商标局网站快速检索界面: 翻译：单步法：single-step； 煤流化：coal liquefaction。

  8. 在“Term1”框中输入“coal liquefaction”， 在“Term2”框中输入“single-step”， 字段都选择“Title”字段，逻辑运算符选择“AND” 。
