  11. There is a beautiful legend about “Oriental Beauty Tea.” One English merchant presented Pekoe tea to the Queen of England. The Queen liked its wonderful flavor and admired its beautiful golden-brown appearance. Knowing that the tea was produced in the East "Formosa" Taiwan, the Queen named it "Oriental Beauty Tea."

  12. Pekoe Oolong was originally called "inflated tea", because no one thought the ugly tea leaves could make such a beautiful and tasty tea. During the Japanese occupation era; one Beipumerchant reportedly sold the tea to a Taipei Governor at a very high price (100 pounds for 2000 NT$ or ¥ 6750).
