  2. At the beginning there were Adam and Eva ... • 1.9.1948 openning of Gymnázium in Senica (The building of meštianska škola • 1951-52 the first graduating students • After the change of the School Regulations it was The 11- Year Secondary School 1953 • Moved into the new building in Dlha Street

  3. Later Abraham appeared,....... • The school moved to the building in Komensky Street • 1969- The new four-yeargymnazium started • The school moved into the building in Dlhá Street where the Business Academy has got a residence

  4. So all were going to live there until now but…. • 1983- were new rooms and labs built • 1989-90 The Curriculum was focused on Modern Languages , Religion education and Ethics • 1991-The new gymnasium was opened

  5. Who ruled here at the hard times? • The first Headmaster was Andrej Hrčka • Ivan Voda - the poorest, as he spent a month without any teachers • Jozef Nečas, Ing.Viktor Kmeť, ... • At the end the best Mgr.Ján Hrušecký and the Deputy-headmaster Mr. Pavol Otépka and the Deputy- headmistress Mrs. Zlatica Hečková

  6. How the school get prepared to our arrival? • There were two building periods in (1983,1987) • 1992-1994 improvements of the rooms • At last : Opening the eight-year gymnázium (Príma A,B)

  7. Every morning we are invited with the hug . And what about an ordinarystudent? • Oh no again … • Not yet I`ve been sleeping… • He/ she usually says hello keeping smile

  8. We have got wonderful playground (In fact, it doesn`t belong to us,butit's OK) Our classrooms are not empty ( except the writing tests we are there) We have got desks . Greaaaat! And what more?

  9. It is not an ordinary school... • At the School Leaving Exams we do our best • Many of students join many competitions and Olympiads during their study. • Students are also excellent at many different sports such as football, tennis, basketball , ice- hockey, dancing,... • Warning!Many stars graduated from our school but he doesn`t belong to them!!!

  10. The News... • We are not an ordinary Gymnázium in Senica any more. This year we were given the name : Gymnázium Ladislava Novomeského, so the quality of education improved at once (it is said)
