  1. Rocky the Mouse By: Mathew Wollmann

  2. Rocky was a mouse. A very rich mouse. He had everything you could think of. A big house, a pool, a helicopter, and not one but 10 cars!

  3. Every day Rocky would wake up, get in either his helicopter or car, and drive around the beach. After that he would relax in his pool all day, snack on cheese, and watch T.V until it was time for bed.

  4. Every day he would do the same thing. But after awhile he got bored. And decided to call some friends.

  5. He called up his friends Jerry and George to see what they were up to. They said they were going to the beach to meet with other friends. Rocky said,” Well you can just come to my house, I have a pool.” Jerry and George said,” No its ok, we love to go to the beach!”

  6. Rocky was confused, why didn’t they want to come here. I have everything they would ever want. Big house, pool, helicopter, and not one but 10 cars!

  7. For a couple of hours, he wondered about this. And finally couldn’t take it anymore and decided to go to the beach and see why its so fun.

  8. When Rocky arrived at the beach, his friends Jerry and George waved him over, and introduced him to some of their friends.

  9. They ate cheese, surfed on their cracker boards, and cooked marshmallows by the camp fire.

  10. Rocky was having so much fun with his friends! They were having so much fun they decided to camp out on the beach.

  11. The next day, Rocky and his friends cleaned up camp. Then they decided to go to the movies. They saw a scary movie about cats invading the planet.

  12. It had been over a day since Rocky had been home, so he decided it was time to go. When he got home, he thought about going out in the pool. But it wasn’t as fun without friends.

  13. He also thought about driving one of his cars around, or flying his helicopter. But it just wasn’t the same.

  14. So Rocky had an idea, he would sell his helicopter, nine of his cars, and even his pool, and build houses for every one of his friends so they could live right by him!

  15. He was so excited about this idea and couldn’t wait to tell George and Jerry and all of his new friends about it, the next time they go to the beach.THE END
