Helen Haller Elementary School is committed to meeting the Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) to improve students' reading and writing skills over the next five years. We aim to align our practices with the English Language Arts Common Core State Standards (CCSS) by enhancing staff understanding, implementing a comprehensive Reading Assessment System using DIBELS, and creating common writing assessments across grades. Our goal is to foster a collaborative environment that supports at-risk readers and strengthens our curriculum through effective assessments and clear communication.
