  2. What is it? HHC hydrostatic-set, cut to release, retrievable packer is a production packer run integral to the production tubing to provide reservoir isolation in the casing annulus and production tubing anchoring capabilities. • Set using hydrostatic wellbore pressure and applied surface pressure without plugs • Packer design allows for the largest ID capable in a retrievable packer and is used extensively in deepwater applications with a field-proven reliability track record

  3. How it will Benefit you • The hydrostatic setting capability eliminates need for well intervention to install plugging devices to set the packer. The cut to release feature eliminates the need for milling operations to retrieve the packer during workover operations. • Elimination of well intervention helps reduce cost and risk associated with packer installation. The cut to release capability of the packer allows lengthy milling operation costs to be avoided during retrieval/workover operations.

  4. Why it will Help • The HHC hydrostatic packer adapts hydrostatic functionality to the very successful Halliburton AHC platform for a highly reliable deepwater packer platform. The lower setting pressure requirement resulting from using hydrostatic allows for a more controlled setting environment and failsafe operation.

  5. Unique Features • Can be installed in a single trip using well hydrostatic pressure • Burst discs used for precise initiation of the setting process • ‘No mandrel movement’ design allowing for use in highly deviated and stacked packer applications • Utilizes a barrel slip to better distribute high tubing/casing loads • Can be retrieved by cutting the mandrel either chemically or mechanically. • Good track record of usage and recovery success globally HHC Packer

  6. Where it Will Work • HHC hydrostatic retrievable packer is used in well applications of: • Extended setting depth requirements • Highly deviated well environments • When convention packer setting plug techniques are not possible • Large bore monobore applications

  7. Challenges Addressed • HHC hydrostatic packer helps deliver: • Completion design flexibility • High reliability in robust packer platform • Reduced installation intervention cost • Reduced installation intervention risk and safety

  8. When it’s Helpful • Deepwater subsea applications • Delivers a robust highly reliable packer platform in a single-trip system • Large bore monobore applications • Critical high value assets
