Features Media: Smart TVs (LG, Samsung, Sony and others) Concept: All products/services available on existing VAS platforms can be made applicable for purchase/subscription on Smart TV application also. Advantage of Smart TV application is that it reaches to the largest consumer base which is TV viewing consumers. With time, cost of Smart TVs will also come down and it will become more used product everywhere. This will definitely result into higher usage of Smart TV applications. Another big advantage of Smart TV application is that it supports all dynamic features like navigation, search, streaming, purchase and subscription. Also content placement is solely driven by brand owner, which is a great advantage for brand owners. This application can also run on Web. Pronto Infotech’s Advantage: We are currently only few technology firms in India doing Smart TV applications. We have developed Smart TV Application for BigFlix on LG and Samsung. We understand the UI and technology framework being used for these platforms.
