What is ShARE A 2 year career path aims at equiping share members with all the tools required to conduct a global project Career path Activities Description ShARE members choose a topic , use ShARE methodologies to prepare a presentation and present it to the local team Presentation Junior member ShARE members invite an expert to get his view on a hot social, business or economic topic and give a lecture in the university Conference 6 month Validation In house project ShARE members are engaged on an internal project to practice their survey and interviews skills. Confirmed member Joint Presentation Two ShARE teams work on the same topic and present their learning to each other using video or tele conference. 6 month Validation The ultimate activity of a ShARE member. The projects involve at least 2 countries and a recognized institutional or corporate partners. Project Senior & Global member ShARE management ShARE’s best performing members take global positions and manage ShARE-Global 1 year Every year, ShARE give s grants to senior members to attend ShARE World Seminar World seminar Validation ShARE-Alumni are linked though social networks to keep in touch with their former friends. What is ShARE Examples of our Activities at SHARE range FROM PRESENTATIONS TO CONFERENCES , going through our world seminar Conference ShARE-India invited Francois Bourguignon, former chief economist of the World Bank at the Delhi School of Economics for a talk on “Future trends of development economics”. ShARE-Switzerland and ShARE- Pakistan organized a video conference to discuss the social impact of the crisis on their respective countries. Joint presentation TV TV In House Project ShARE-India organized a survey on the practical benefits that rural Indians enjoy through microfinance. Project ShARE-China and ShARE-India worked on a collaborative project with EADS and Valeo “Asia: an emerging R&D centre for the world” The representatives of ShARE China and India went to Paris to present the results of the study to R&D head of Valeo and EADS. World Seminar ShARE-China organized ShARE World Seminar 2008 in Tsinghua University gathering more 100 ShARE members, on the theme ”A changing world setting new rules” and guest speakers from the IMF, Booz Allen, EADS, Valeo and General electrics.
