On July 8, 2009, the Glades County CERT team conducted a comprehensive drill simulating emergency medical responses. Scenarios included victims with various injuries such as Kelly with an impaled wood plank, Erica with glass in her shoulder and a compound fracture, and Tina with a Tib/Fib fracture. Participants also managed a diabetic shock case and addressed burn injuries from electrical shock. The drill emphasized teamwork and effective management of impalements and fractures. A special thanks to all participants for their dedication and effort.
