  3. PHOBIA (fo-bee-uh) (pho-bi-a), noun Definition: strong, irrational fear Form: phobic, adj. “Many people have a phobia of something or another. Robert’s biggest phobia is his fear of clowns.”

  4. ACROPHOBIA (ack-row-fo-bee-uh) (ac-ro-pho-bi-a), n Definition: a fear of heights Form: acrophobe, n “I had a case of acrophobia until I did a high ropes course and realized that heights weren’t as scary as I thought.”
