  2. Agenda • Presentation Financial results CIEE and Hg Thai • Presentation „continuity plan“ of CIEE/HG Thai • Discussion about risk for GE and CIEE if Mamo business taken over • Advantage of CIEE on Mamo business • Conclusion

  3. Presentation Financial results CIEE and Hg Thai CIEE gives a copy of financial results to GE Both companies (CIEE and Hg Thai) are profitable. CIEE and Hg Thai have already engaged new projects which will contribute to increase sales and profit in 2008. Sales in Asia are increasing very fast. Conclusion: The part of GE business will still be 15% if Mamo is taken over.

  4. Presentation „continuity plan“ of CIEE/HG Thai • Plan covers the 2 companies • The supply chain insured GE to have in pipe 3 months of finished goods, and 1 to 2 months of extra raw material • CIEE/HG Thai are well- insured on real amounts. Material in transit are also insured to real value • Cable assembly business requires little investments. Auto-financing of share-holders is high and fastly raised-up. • The leadtime for material is short (on biplan, future liberty, and Mamo: almost all sourced in Asia) • The leadtime for new machineries is also short. • All processes and instructions are extremelly well documented. • Most of information support is computorized . IT Data are saved regularly.

  10. and CIEE and GE have both beeen progressing in working together • Relation with engineering (introduce new designs, standardisation, samples in few days, drawing made by CIEE, tests made by CIEE) • Relation with sourcing (transparency, good understanding. Both can talk, and act towards the other one) • Relation with manufacturing, logistic (very good communication) Why not applying this to Mamo business? CIEE is willing to commit itself
