Accounting (RAS  RADIUS) • At the start of Call: • RAS to Radius • RAS IP address • Session ID • IP address assigned to customer • NAS Port • Start Date and Time • PSTN or ISDN (PPP or MLPPP) • Calling and Called Telephone Number • Radius registers this session in session table Data Networks, BSNL, New Delhi

Accounting (RAS  RADIUS) • At the end of Call: • RAS to Radius • RAS IP address • Session ID • IP address assigned to customer • NAS Port • Start Date and Time • PSTN or ISDN (PPP or MLPPP) • Calling and Called Telephone Number • Length of Call and Call End Time • Radius clears the session from session table Data Networks, BSNL, New Delhi

  14. Accounting (Radius  CLC ) • At the end of Call: • Radius converts the accounting information in a predefined format – CDR • Usage Mover Daemon on Radius Server moves it to Collector Station Database Data Networks, BSNL, New Delhi

  15. Rating • CDR Mover Daemon Pushes the CDR to MasterDB • Rater Daemon rates the CDR based on applicable policy, and reduces the balance • Account Balance Updation Daemon updates the balance on Master LDAP Data Networks, BSNL, New Delhi
