  1. Siblings

  2. Siblings • How many siblings do you have? • Do you get along? Why or why not? • Has your relationship changed at all? Did you get along or not get along before, but now things are different? How?

  3. Coming-of-age Stories

  4. JemMindmap Create a mind map for Jem. Think about the following: his interests, worries, responsibilities, passions, personality, family, friends, etc.

  5. Dialogue Writing Write a dialogue between Jem and Scout that illustrates their different stages of maturity, interests, concerns, and personalities. Use one of the situations in TKM as a focus or starting point for your dialogue. Some examples you can use are: going to Boo Radley’s house, objects found in the tree, Atticus disciplining them, going to school, treatment of Walter Cunningham, etc. Or, if you prefer, you can invent a new situation/conflict for them to respond to. You can work alone or with a partner of your choosing.

  6. Mingling Question • Which quote did you like best from chs. 9-11, and why? OR 2. Which part of TKM have you liked best and why?
