  2. Tasks and timeline As part of bringing together knowledge accumulated during the deep dives, IWT outcomes will be processed along the 5 thematic pillars by the TGs. This processing work will start already during the deep dive process, in order to allow sufficient time to properly synthesize information. • Thematic Group (TG) leaders will continuously collect the results of the deep dive process (WP3 A3) and synthesize them along the 5 thematic pillars. • This knowledge will be presented finallyin the form of Master Plans. • Master Plans along the 5 themes comprise the integrated strategy for the sustainable development of a logistical network of Danube ports with a focus on the specialization of ports in the transport logistics chain . We have to begin the work on wp4act1 now, as 1st deep dive will take place earlier The work have to be finished before the master class (it will be held on febr. of 2012)

  3. Prerequisitions • ensuring that all TGs will be represented at all IWT labs by some of their PPs • determining what we mean by „outcomes” or „results” of the IWT labs • SoA studies • IWT lab methodology • Methodological guideline for Master Plans • all the previous IWT reports

  4. Actions to be carried out (to ensure valuable inputs for Master Plans) • all representatives of a TG at every IWT labs intend to gain information primarily on their TGs (it means that they are prepared in advance in SoA and in Status Quo report of the port visited actually –with respect of their TGnaturally) • collected information has to reflect on • the gaps between SoA and Status Quo (if any) • the strategic problems and future plans of the actual port (port experts are to be interviewed about it –separately by all the TGs if it is necessary (in case of lack of information on an issue)) • regional development possibilities (broader view of port environment) • these viewpoints and Master Plan Methodology have to be taken into account during elaboration of IWT lab reports • synthetization could be carried out easily if all the IWT outcomes of a TG are organized into the same structure in case of all IWT lab reports • it is useful to make SWOT separately by all TG themes • co – ordination work will be carried out by Bay-Logi that is why I ask you to report us all the problems during implementation
