Solidarity is not merely sympathy; it is a steadfast commitment to the common good, ensuring everyone's welfare. Rooted in the belief that we are responsible for one another, our international solidarity movement pursues three primary strategies: providing financial support for sustainable development in the Global South, delivering emergency relief in crisis situations, and fostering education and action in Canada. By partnering with over 200 grassroots organizations across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East, we aim to tackle injustice and poverty while empowering communities everywhere.

What is Solidarity? Solidarity is not a vague feeling of compassion or shallow distress.……..On the contrary it is a firm and preserving determination to commit oneself to the common good; that is to say to the good of all and each individual, because we are really responsible for all. - Pope John Paul II, On Social Concern
